Ponferrada Spain

Ponferrada is the capital city of El Bierzo in the Province of León. The town of Ponferrada dates back to the Middle Ages when it developed as a settlement around the road to Santiago and develops as a large city during the period that ranges from the 16th to the 18th century, a period when the most important and remarkable buildings are built.
